Brrrrr… too cold for dog walking!!!
Dog walking in winter can be tough. Sometimes it is about chasing the light and other times it is about rugging up so much to get started only to take half the layers off midway once your warmed up. Finding the right clothes to walk in is a skill in itself. However, our furry friends have wonderful coats to keep them warm and they are still very keen to go walking. I find when I walk the dogs I am following the sun. I walk out the door and decide left or right depending on where the sun is shining. Once I’m warmed up I don’t mine but those first few minutes are a bit of a struggle but as the dogs wag their tales, sniff the fresh new scents in the bushes around me and stretch their legs it makes dog walking all worthwhile. On those days when you really don’t want to exercise they provide the best motivation!
Sometimes with the hours of work we all have it can be difficult to fit in walking our dogs. Bobbi and Dee are offering a winter dog walking special starting with a deal – book in for 4 dog walks and get the 5th on free. Book in for more and the discounts will keep coming. I walk dogs mainly in the West Wollongong/Gwynneville/Keiraville/Mangerton areas however if you are just outside of this area I’m happy to discuss walking your dogs.
Feel free to contact me at info@bobbianddee.com.au for a free meet and greet and trial walk. If you are in my area my rates start at $15/30 min walk, pensioner discounts available and also discounts if you are currently unwell and unable to walk your dog(s).
